mini LED局部调光驱动芯片ICND8603,是一款应用于高动态范围(HDR)LCD电视、显示器和笔记本电脑的LED背光芯片。该产品是国内首款采用行列合一,提供2路扫描和48路输出的LED背光驱动芯片。其支持14位PWM调光、5位和8位的全局增益控制,并同时提供6位独立通道增益控制和7位模拟直流调光,极大的提高了HDR应用中的对比度。

ICND8603 is a mini-LED local dimming driver for LED backlight of high dynamic range (HDR) LCD TV, display and laptop. This product is the first chip with row-in-row integration, providing 2-way scanning and 48-channel output. It supports 14-bit PWM dimming, 5-bit and 8-bit global gain control, and provides 6-bit independent channel gain control and 7-bit analog DC dimming at the same time, which greatly improves the contrast in HDR applications.

ICND8603采用独有的低灰阶调光算法,解决在极低灰阶屏闪的行业痛点。另外,它结合自适应DC/DC或AC/DC的反馈控制,可以达到最优化系统效率和热性能。

ICND8603 uses a unique low-gray dimming algorithm to solve the common tech pain point: flashes at in very low-gray screen. In addition, it combines adaptive DC/DC or AC/DC feedback control to optimize system efficiency and thermal performance.

ICND8603整体方案极简,所有驱动设置通过SPI接口完成,非常方便LED分区模块化设计。帧频范围更是支持50~960HZ,在宽变频应用中,能保持画面的流畅平滑。

该芯片支持1mA~30mA应用,且电流精度不随电流设定而漂移,符合绝大多数高分区局部调光方案要求。该芯片的量产,有望成为LED局部调光方案的推手,抢占LCD显示技术节点,助力国内LCD屏的产业升级。


The overall solution of ICND8603 is very simple. All driver settings are completed through SPI interface, which is very convenient for LED partition modular design. The frame rate range also supports 50~960HZ, which can keep the picture smooth in wide frequency conversion applications.

The chip supports 1mA~30mA applications, and the current accuracy does not drift with the current setting, which meets the requirements of most high partition local dimming schemes. The mass production of this chip is expected to become the driver of LED local dimming scheme, seize the LCD display technology node, and help the domestic LCD screen industry upgrade.
